We build software for markets that deserve better.
Then we create companies to bring it to the people who need it.
Engineer. Steward. Deliver.
Most great companies start with a missing product.A3Q started with an avoided market.
Some markets aren’t missed, they’re just skipped. It might be a sea of niche uses that resist standardizing, a seasonal selling cycle that delivers inconsistent returns, or relationships that take longer to earn than most companies will wait.
Whatever the reason, these organizations end up last on the list for the software everybody else takes for granted.
A complicated market shouldn’t mean second-rate software.
Dedicated companies
Two customer segments in the same vertical can have completely different needs and interests. A3Q does more than give them a brand.
We dedicate a company to meeting their needs and living in their world. Our political software companies are the clearest example.
Each company keeps its own records. Nothing a campaign puts into one company’s product is available to another company.
Our origin
It started with a problem.
When his mother ran for local office, AWS engineer Adil Patel saw how much effort went into keeping a political campaign organized.
The software that existed was built for campaigns a hundred times the size, and priced to match. And it’s clear why. The needs vary, the cycles vary, and the price that would actually work makes the market hard to serve broadly.
But when Adil built software to help, he saw what it meant to someone like his mom. Someone who wanted to make her community better but had no tools to show that.
That experience became A3Q’s foundation. Finding a way to serve a market others didn’t want to tackle.
The companies
A3Q’s first three companies followed.
VoteCivic
Software for Democratic campaigns. votecivic.com
SignalVote
Software for Republican campaigns. signalvote.com
VeritasAssembly
Software for nonpartisan and public-serving organizations. veritasassembly.com
One business vertical. Three separate markets in need of a better solution. Three separate companies to get it to them.
How we work
The difference is the market piece.
Getting software into a challenging market means navigating inconsistent cycles, gated channels, and closely held connections. We shape both the product and the company around these complexities, because that’s what decides whether anyone actually gets to use it.
Engineer
The product
High-quality software, purpose-built to meet an industry’s challenges and make the work easier.
Steward
The company
One or more companies for each product, each with its own identity, built to become a sincere part of the market it serves. That means bringing in people who already live in it.
Deliver
The distribution
Large companies don’t think this part is worth the trouble. Small ones can’t afford it. We find the channels anyway.
